if only to have something for the month of february. apparently, i suck at blogging when it’s dark and snowy outside.

as i’ve mentioned previously, i applied for the knight news challenge with my timeline news idea to show a historical perpective of the realtime web in relation to a geographical context. at first, they promised to get back to all applicants by jan 10th, but i got no reply. after sending them an email, i was told that they were still going through applications, and subsequently changed their own due date to jan 20th. that’s today. and i still don’t have anything.

granted, i’m currently sitting in a timezone at least 6hrs ahead of theirs, so i probably wont see anything until tomorrow.

but that doesn’t really stop me from checking every 5 minutes now does it?

i guess i’m not 100% done with my cold/pneumonia yet. but i’ve been back at work for the last two days trying to solve some really annoying bugs on dnskola . apparently, the user references as set up by the system don’t allow everyone to access the data that they require. dunno why.

i think i just figured it out.  hold on. nope. i thought that the issue i had with the group answers would be duplicated here, and the node had to be published before group editing could happen. only the project log was already set to auto published.

boo.

i guess i’ll have to keep trying.
